Thoughts on Thought Hammer
Hey all.... Sorry I've been away. This is just a quick post about what I consider to be the best on-line retailer of boardgames around. For those of you who haven't ever ordered a game from Thought Hammer I suggest you take a look at their website (thoughthammer.com) and marvel at the amazing prices and selection of games. Pretty much everything they sell goes for about 35% below retail and that isn't even where you get the best value. What truly makes Thought Hammer amazing are the incredible shipping deals they have available. In addition to giving free shipping on all orders over $125 (many internet retailers do this) what makes Thought Hammer special is that they have a flat shipping fee of $8.00 (+ 50 cents an item). The only drawback for me is that shipping to Canada is much more expensive ($28.10) and so it may not be as worth while for international buyer to purchase games through Thought Hammer. In fact when I purchase through Thought Hammer I have my games shipped to a friend who lives in the States and he drops them off whenever he comes back this way.
Anyway, I just wanted give a quick heads up to the existance of this wonderful on-line retailer. Within the next few weeks I am going to being doing an article on my local brink and mortar store for those of you who are resistent to on-line game retailing.
